Helensvale is an established community built on rolling hills and completed with a leafy outlook and fantastic community spirit.
The suburb is bound by the Coombabah Lake to the east and part of the Coomera River. Helensvale was the first of the Gold Coast’s master planned suburbs to sweep the Gold Coast. The suburb has an established feel due to its mature trees and lawns.
Probably the most remarkable attribute is Helensvale’s claim that no resident is ever more than 5 minutes’ walk from parklands. There is an outstanding number of parks throughout the suburb which probably contributes to the area as being highly family orientated.
Helensvale is a short drive away from the Gold Coast’s theme parks – Dreamworld, Wet’n’Wild and Warner Bros. Movie World. There are numerous sporting clubs throughout the suburb and for all ages. These include cricket, rugby union, tennis, eight other golf courses are within an easy 10 minute drive, bowls and swimming.
Helensvale shopping has undergone a major change as Westfield, a multimillion dollar shopping complex, moved in next to the Helensvale Train Station.
Now there is a number of smaller centres containing a mixture of businesses both commercial and retail.
